Servers
Adding a regional server adds capacity, homes, and local read coverage.
What it guarantees
Every instance has one home server holding write authority, and any server may answer a read from a copy it keeps. An operator manages health and capacity without ever binding an instance's identity to a machine.
- Add regional capacity through the project's configuration
- Drain or replace a server while its homes move somewhere safe
- Read home count, resource pressure, and copy roles per server
Configured resources
What this capability is holding up. It is configured once for the project, so nothing here changes with the environment.
| Resource | Kind | State | Configuration |
|---|---|---|---|
| iad-runtime-01 | Server | Active | Ashburn, holding homes and copies |
| ams-runtime-01 | Server | Active | Amsterdam, holding homes and copies |
